POSH at 10: Has Gurugram’s Corporate World Got the Message?

The POSH Act — the Prevention, Protection and Redressal of Sexual Harassment Act — completed 10 years in 2023. It was landmark legislation, mandating every organisation with 10 or more employees to constitute an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) and conduct regular POSH awareness training.

Gurugram, as one of India’s largest corporate hubs, has a special responsibility. And while many large MNCs have robust POSH frameworks, the picture in mid-size and smaller firms is less encouraging.
